Sign-up offers are the usual way a new bookmaker introduces itself, and the 2026 rules changed what they may look like. This section explains the main kinds.

Welcome offers come first, then free bets, whether or not a deposit is needed, followed by price boosts and enhanced odds, money back as a free bet, 2up, loyalty deals, best odds guaranteed and the matched betting technique, with a plain account of what promo codes are.

From 19 January 2026 wagering requirements on bonuses are capped at 10x, and a promotion may not push a customer towards a second product type. Whether the cap applies to free bets without wagering is not established, so the operator’s terms decide.
