Tennis, darts & cue sports
Sports of one competitor against another give a new bookmaker room to differ by the breadth of markets it lists. This section describes how such markets are built.
Tennis, darts, snooker and golf lead, with table tennis, badminton, padel, curling and chess as the less common entries. Golf adds each-way betting, where place terms are set by event and operator and quoted from the market.
Britain publishes no list of permitted markets. A licence is issued by category, real events among them, and whatever a site lists beyond that follows its own rules, which is why one tournament can be priced differently from bookmaker to bookmaker.
